आत्ताच मॉर्डन लव्ह या सिरीजचा पहिला भाग प्राईमवर बघितला, आणि.. पुढे काय लिहावं कळतं नाहीये. प्रेम या शैलीमध्ये, एवढं सशक्त तरीही हळुवार असं काही बऱ्याच दिवसांनी अनुभवायला मिळालं.
काही कथानकं समुद्रासारखी अन, त्यातले सवांद लाटांसारखे असतात, एखाद्या सवांदाने पटकन भरती येते, अन मग त्या सवांदावर स्वार व्हावंस वाटतं, असाच एक सवांद एपिसोडच्या शेवटी येतो, अन मग या कथानकात मी बुडून गेलो.
आपल्या टीव्हीच्या मातोश्री, यांनी यात मुख्य भूमिका निभावली आहे. त्यांना अभिनयासाठी नॉमिनेशन मिळेल, कुठलं माहीत नाही, पण नक्की मिळेल, बहुतेक लेखकाला सुद्धा मिळेल.
एका प्रसंगात बॅकग्राऊंड म्युजिक मध्ये, फक्त पियानोचा वापर देऊन संगीत दिलं गेलं आहे, बॅकग्राऊंडला जी गाणी आहेत ती अप्रतिम आहे.
साधं सरळ सोपं अलगद तरल पण तरीही गहिरं असं काही बघायचं असेल तर हा एपिसोड बघू शकता.
खरं तर या पूर्ण एपिसोडवर निबंध लिहिता येईल, पण उद्या पहाटे उठून करंज्याचं सारण करायचंय.

मी नुकतीच पाहून संपवली मॉडर्न लव्ह. आवडली मला. पहिली डोअरमॅन ची कथा, देव पटेलची कथा, अॅन हॅथवे ची कथा आवडली , अजून एक लहान वयात वडील गेल्यामुळे त्यांना मिस करताना न कळत त्यांच्या वयाच्या पुरुषाकडे अॅट्रॅक्ट होणार्या मुलीची कथा पण आवडली.
अॅन हॅथवे ची कथा स्पेशल मेन्शन करण्यासारखी. बायपोलर डिसॉर्डर ने ग्रस्त मुलीची कथा आहे. तिचा मानसिक आजार, हाय आणि लो पॉइन्ट्स यातून होणारी तिची घुसमट, फ्रस्ट्रेशन हे ज्या प्रकारे दाखवलंय ते अगदी थेट भिडतं. अॅन हॅथवे ने ते कॅरेक्टर फारच बिलिव्हेबल केलंय.
टायटल्स मधे वाचलेले मला बरोबर आठवत असेल तर या सीरीज ला एक लेखक असा नाही, न्यूयॉर्क टाइम्स मधे लोकांनी त्यांच्या अनुभवांवर बेस्ड लिहिलेले लेख आहेत त्यातलेच हे काही आहेत.

मी अजून सगळे भाग बघितले नाहीत. देव पटेलची कथा पण खूप भारी आहे, मस्त होती, ऍना फे ला बहुतेक नॉमिनेशन मिळेल. ऍना फेची कथा काय जबरदस्त लिहिली आहे, नवरा बायको पेंग्विनची डॉक्युमेंटरी बघून बाहेर पडतात, बायकोला वाटू लागतं की आपण सुद्धा पेंग्विन आहोत, त्या नंतरचे सगळे सवांद.. की नवरा म्हणतो तू शेवट बघितलाच नाही, मग तुला कसं कळणार? त्या कथेत कोणाची बाजू घ्यावी हेच कळतं नाही, तिथेच लेखक यशस्वी झाला आहे, त्यांचं ते टेनिस खेळणं सुद्धा खूप प्रतिकात्मक वाटलं, ती कथा काल्पनिक वाटच नाही, बहुदा खरी घडलेली असावी.

गेम ओव्हर बघितला(इथे काही न वाचता, 25 रु रेंटल मध्ये मिळत होता म्हणून)
चांगला मांडला आहे आणि तरीही असे चित्रपट बनू नयेत , अश्यक कादंबऱ्या असतील तर लिहिल्या जाऊ नयेत असं वाटलं.शिवाय मिळालेला विजय फारच काठावर पास वाटला.
मला या पिक्चर बद्दल थोडी जरी वाचून माहिती असती तरी मी पाहिला नसता.(जसा पिहू पाहिला नाही तसा).प्रचंड अनसेटलिंग.
आता तो बघून आलेली चक्कर आणि पोटात टाईटनेस घालवायला बनवाबनवी बघणार आहे.

The genre came to life after the devastation of Germany in World War II , and remained popular from the late 1940s to the 1960s. The films suggested a whole, romantic world untouched by war and the hazards of real life.
In the immediate post-World War II era, the idea of Heimat is linked to the experience of loss of more than twelve million Germans, known as
Vertriebene , who were displaced from the former eastern territories of
Germany in its traditional, pre-1938 borders. Contemporary concerns with expulsion and re-integration become manifest in many of the more than three hundred Heimatfilme that were produced during the 1950s.
The Heimatfilme made during the chancellorships of Konrad Adenauer and Ludwig Erhard present idyllic images of the countryside. Nevertheless, the post-war genre does deal with questions of modernisation, social change and consumerism; it "affords the positive resolution of contemporary social and ideological concerns about territory and identity".

सुरवातीचा काही भाग फिलॉसॉफिकल संवाद आहेत तो थोडा बोअर झाला. 'असं कोणी बोलत असेल का कधी...' वाटत होतं वाचताना (तेपण प्रियकर/प्रेयसीशी!). आणि शेवट ताणलाय/एवढा खास नाहीय असंदेखील वाटलं. पण मधला जो हॉरर भाग आहे तो जबरी जमलाय! वाचताना लय भ्या वाटत होतं! मला वाटतं The Shining नंतर पहिल्यांदाच मी एवढी घाबरले असेन :D. नेटफ्लिक्स सिनेमा बनवतंय म्हणे यावर. नक्की वाचा म्हणणार नाही पण वाचलत तर फार पश्चाताप होईल असंदेखील नाही. छोटंस पुस्तक आहे, पटकन संपतं.
