Delhi Lieutenant Governor Vinai Kumar Saxena has written a letter to former Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, criticising him for the pollution in the capital. In a 15-page letter, Mr Saxena accused the previous Aam Aadmi Party government for 11 years of negligence and failing to take measures to control air pollution. He added that the previous government never took any steps to control dust emission, which is a major cause of air pollution in Delhi.

Palakkad: A migrant worker from Chhattisgarh was lynched to death in Kerala's Palakkad over suspicion of being a thief and a Bangladeshi. The 31-year-old Ramnarayan travelled to Kerala in search of work but was beaten to death by the locals, reportedly over mistaken identity.

This has happened in Kizhakeattappallam near Walayar in Palakkad district where few people had gathered and thought that the migrant worker had stolen something and also mistaken his identity assuming him a Bangladeshi. When they confronted the migrant worker, what began as an argument soon turned into a violent act against the victim as he was beaten to death.

सेनगर दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालय
(2007) 1 SCC (Cri) 417],holds that an order granting a stay of conviction should not be the rule but an exception and should be resorted to in rare cases depending upon the facts of a case. However, where conviction, if allowed to operate would lead to irreparable damage and where the convict cannot be compensated in any monetary terms or otherwise, if he is acquitted later on, that by itself carves out an exceptional situation. Having applied the specific criteria outlined hereinabove to the present factual matrix, it is our considered view that the appellant's case warrants an order of stay on his award of conviction, though partially.

"We have admitted your appeal because we think you have a prima facie case, but unfortunately we have no time to hear your appeal for quite a few years and, therefore, until we hear your appeal, you must remain in jail, even though you may be innocent?" What confidence would such administration of justice inspire in the mind of the public? It may quite conceivably happen, and it has in fact happened in a few cases in this Court, that a person may serve out his full term of imprisonment before his appeal is taken up for hearing. Would a Judge not be overwhelmed with a feeling of contrition while acquitting such a person after hearing the appeal? Would it not bean affront to his sense of justice? Of what avail would the acquittal be to such a person who has already served out his term of imprisonment or at any rate a major part of it? It is, therefore, absolutely essential that the practice which this Court has been following in the past must be reconsidered and so long as this Court is not in a position to hear the appeal of an accused within a reasonable period of time, the Court should ordinarily, unless there are cogent grounds for acting otherwise, release the accused on bail in cases where special leave has been granted to the accused to appeal against his conviction and sentence."

Analysis of data related to PMKVY 2.0 and 3.0 revealed that ‘bankAccountdetails’ field contained zeros, ‘Null’, ‘N/A’ or was blank in case of 90,66,264 of total 95,90,801 participants i.e., for 94.53 per cent of the cases. In the case of remaining 5,24,537 candidates, 12,122 unique bank account numbers were repeated for 52,381 participants in two or more instances as detailed in
Analysis of photographic evidence of 24 batches for which details were produced to
Audit by the SSC revealed that NMP had produced the same photographic evidence
regarding skill certification undertaken by it pertaining to different batches in different
States.
Fresh evidence provided (May 2023) by the Ministry was again examined where it was
noted that profile pictures of only 694 candidates and Aadhaar details of only 132
candidates were available out of the 812 candidates in these 24 batches. Further,
duplications similar to those illustrated above were also present in 58 profile pictures.
At the time of inspection, on-the-spot photographs captured are a vital piece of
evidence to draw assurance about the assessment process. It was, however, noted
that 45 monitoring reports used the same photograph as evidence of different
trainings.

कुलदीप सेनगर प्रकरणी दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालयाच्या नि र्णयाला सर्वोच्च न्यायालयाने स्थगिती दिली. त्याची शिक्षा स्थगित करायचा निर्णय दिल्ली उच्च न्यायालयाचा असला तरी सीबीआयने त्या सुनावणीदरम्यान काय भूमिका घेतली होती, हा प्रश्न आहे.

बिल्किस बानो प्रकरणी तर सरकारनेच निर्णय घेतला होता.

भाजपच्या महिला समर्थकांचं या अशा वेळी फार कौतुक वाटतं. निष्ठा असावी तर अशी.

इंदूर - नळाने येणा र्‍या पेयजलात सांडपाणी मिक्स झाल्याने इंदूरच्या एका वस्तीत काही लोक मृत्यूमुखी पडले. मोठ्या संख्येने लोक आजारी पडले. काहींना इस्पितळात भरती करावं लागलं. याबद्दल पत्रकाराने भाजप नेते आणि मंत्री कैलाश विजयवर्गीय ( हे इंदूरचे महापौर आणि खासदारही होते) यांना प्रश्न विचारला असता - छोडो यार फोकट प्रश्न मत पूछो. प्रश्न पूछ के क्या घंटा कर लोगे असं उत्तर मिळालं.

या बद्दल लोक कित्येक दिवस तक्रार करीत होते. लोक मेल्यावर प्रशासनाला जाग आली

बिहार के लोगों के लिए नए साल की शुरुआत अच्छी खबर के साथ नहीं हो रही है. लंबे समय से ये चर्चा थी कि भारत की पहली वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन दिल्ली से पटना के बीच चलाई जाएगी. इससे बिहार के यात्रियों को बड़ी राहत मिलने की उम्मीद थी. लेकिन अब रेल मंत्रालय ने पहली वंदे भारत स्लीपर ट्रेन के रूट का आधिकारिक ऐलान कर दिया है. ये ट्रेन दिल्ली-पटना की जगह गुवाहाटी से कोलकाता के बीच चलेगी.

It was closed down by the GOVERNMENT.

While deciding the case, a Bench of Justices Pankaj Mithal and SVN Bhatti quoted Manusmriti to underline the moral duty of a family to support women members.

Quoting chapter 8, verse 389 of Manusmriti, the Court noted,

“No mother, no father, no wife, and no son deserves to be forsaken. A person who abandons these blameless (relatives) should be fined six hundred (units) by the king. This verse emphasizes duty of the family head to support female family members.”

देशात ज्याच्या त्याच्या धर्मात मान्य असलेल्या शिक्षा लागू कराव्या. धर्मांतराला बंदी असावी, कुठलाच धर्म न मानण्याची सूट असावी. त्या व्यक्तीला सर्व प्रकारच्या शिक्षेतून सूट असावी.
