Do not keep your personal photographs with your family in it visible to everyone through photo sharing websites. People do post them to the sites where you dont want them to end up. Being a single guy, i do go to unwanted sites, but never expected the kind of things i saw there. Internet has really changed the way we think.

make the photographs private, and send the private links only to your friends or family.
I dont know how privacy features work on webshots, I recommend flickr to people. Its very easy to use and provides very good privacy features.
