I often hear people talk about the dangers of social media. And yes, like everything else in life, it has its pitfalls.
But I have also discovered something beautiful about it.
A photograph can become a memory. A song can become an emotion. A simple thought can travel across continents and connect with someone you’ve never met. Sometimes a post becomes a conversation, and sometimes a conversation becomes a relationship.
For me, social media is not just about sharing. It is about storytelling. It allows me to combine words, pictures, music (this beautiful song is from our play #JaanePehchaaneAnjane), memories and feelings into one small creative expression.
Used with positivity, kindness and imagination, it can be a wonderful canvas for creativity and human connection.
The medium is not the problem. What we bring to it is what makes all the difference.
And I must confess, after all these years, I still get excited when a picture, a thought and a song come together and tell a story. That, to me, is the magic of social media.
