I am one of the affected by Mumbai Floods. Our godown at Bhiwandi having medical equipment and labware worth 70 lakh was submerged rendering it totally useless. I am sure many people like me would have frustrating stories to tell while dealing with the agencies like Police, surveyors and Insurance companies. Why not share them with Maaybolikars.

When contacted Insurance company, we were welcome by a xeroxed notice pasted on office door giving details of requirements to lodge a claim. No person was willing to meet.Police Intimation Letter, photographs, video original policy and loss estimate were the minimum requirement. I thought it is not a big job.
