Just tell me can you give this lecture on humanity to Jihadis? who beileve in killings of Kafir (non-muslim)as it is ordered by Kuran. where will you go to lecture this, the whole world is suffered due to Muslim terrorism.
Your all explanation is fuss there..
It is good to talk this Humanity etc who listen but if some one coming with sword...then you and your philosphy finished.

In fact, just like your all encompassing definition of Hindu, I would love to extend the definition of patriotism to encompass all earth (rather than artificial and ephemeral geographic boundaries) and coin a new term called humanity. May be one day people will start using this term.
दुर्दैवाने "वसुधैव कुटुंबकम" ही संकल्पना फक्त हिंदू धर्मातच अस्तित्वात आहे. ईतर धर्म "वसुधेचं" "कुटुंब" करण्याचा प्रयत्न वेग़ळ्या अर्थाने करतात. तुमची वर नमूद केलेली उच्च स्वप्न जेव्हा केव्हा अस्तित्वात येतील तेव्हा आम्ही नक्की "वंदे मातरम" अनिवार्य करणार नाही ... आज मात्र धर्माच कारण पुढे करुन ते न म्हणण्याचा जो अश्लाघ्य प्रयत्न होतोय तो हाणून पाडण हा एकच उपाय दिसतो आहे. कारण म्हातारी मेल्याच दु:ख नाहीये (अशा अनेक मेल्यायत) पण काळ सोकावतोय.

BTW , सामन्या माणसांना त्रास होतो आणि अतिरेकी सुटतात म्हणून airport security काढून टाकावी काय? Heathrow वरती काय भयानक प्रसंग ओढवला असता हो ही security नसती तर?

But there will be other real people who claim to be true Indians who will not say Vande Mataram e.g.
(1) a dumb person who has physical disabilities,
(2) a deaf and blind person who can not be communicated that he is supposed to say vande Mataram,
(3) a child who can not speak yet
(4) a person, because he grew up like tarzan does not understand Indian languages,
(5) a Hindu asetic who has taken the vow of not speaking
(6) A moslem who can not "pray" to anything except allah
(7) a strong headed person who does not like to be told what to do.
तुम्ही जाणून बुजून करत नसाल पण तुमच्या वरच्या post ला बुद्धिभेद म्हणतात. तुम्हीही देशभक्त आहात हे गृहित धरुन कळकळिची विनंती आहे आजूबाजूला डोळे उघडे ठेवून बघा. उर्मटपणाने राष्ट्रगान नाकारणारे, पाकिस्तानच्या विजयाने आनंद होणारे आपल्याच देशातले mini pakistan बघा. आजच जागे नाही झालो तर भविष्य गंभीर आहे.

I have already posted my opinion and nothing further to add.
However, I can not help but post on general debating. I think this is very much relevant going by the tone of this particular argument.
- Basic 101 of arguing: Diversionary tactics like namecalling, mocking betrays general lack of conviction in own beliefs.
- If you argue with anyone in person, are you going to use the same language? Just because you can hide behind your id should not translate to its misuse.
- What is the goal? Answer to the debate or just one-upmanship? If you sincerely look for correct answer (which may or may not match your viewpoint), the language tends to be moderate.
- In emotional debates such as this, an immediate reaction to counter-argument tends to be shrill. If you want to temper your reaction, a good way is to wait for some time before responding. Additional bonus is your thoughts get further clear in your mind.
As I mentioned earlier, I like spirited debates. However I also want to be able to share a good laugh with those fellows whose views may not match mine.

अनुमोदन दिम्डू! मुद्दे मांडायची वेळ आल्यावर काही लोक फिरंग भाषेत का सटकतात हे मलादेखील कायम अगम्य वाटत आलंय. मायबोलीवर लिहितानातरी 'मला वेळ कमी असतो, म्हणून मी इंग्लिशमध्ये / रोमन लिपीत लिहितो' किंवा 'अजून ना.. मला किनई ट्रान्सलिटरेशनचा सरावच झाला नाही' वगैरे फोल समर्थनं कशाला करायची देव जाणे?!!

काय सम्बन्ध कानफटीत मारण्याचा? वन्देमातरम सोडा, शाळा सोडल्यानन्तर जनगणमन तरी कुणी पुर्णपणे एकदातरी म्हणल हे का ते स्वतःलाच विचारा, आणि म्हणल असेल तर तो अपवाद समजा! तीच गोष्ट प्रतिज्ञेची!
तात्विक प्रश्णाला विरोध करण्याकरता असल्या स्टिन्ग ऑपरेशनच्या गचाळ कार्यपद्धती वापरुन केला जात असलेला बुद्धीभेद आधी जबरदस्तीने थाम्बवला गेला पाहीजे!
इथे प्रश्ण वन्दे मातरम अचुक तालासुरात, लता मन्गेशकरसारख म्हणता येत की नाही हा नसुन किमान वन्दे मातरम योग्य गायकान्कडुन म्हणले जाताना त्यात सामिल होणार की नाही हा हे! गेल्या पन्नास वर्षात वन्दे मातरम शिकविणे राहीले बाजुलाच, ते पुर्णपणे म्हणु देखिल न द्यायचे धोरण जिथ होत तिथ वन्दे मातरमच्या समर्थकान्ना देखिल ते अचुक यावे असा आग्रह धरणे म्हणजे भुकेकन्गालाला दन्डाची बेटकुळी दाखिव असे सान्गण्यासारखे आहे!
तरीही, वन्दे मातरम सगळ्यान्ना तोन्डपाठ असावे हा आग्रह चूकीचा नाही पण वन्दे मातरम च्या समर्थकान्ना मुद्दामहून अडचणीत आणणारे प्रश्ण विचारुन वन्दे मातरम च्या समर्थनाची प्रत्यक्षरित्या खिल्ली उडविण्याचा सीएन एन चा वरील प्रकारही तेवढाच निन्दनीय हे, नव्हे नव्हे, सुजलाम सुफलाम मलयजशीतलाम चा अर्थ असा अचानक आमनधपक्या विचारणार्‍या त्या पत्रकारान्च्या कानफटीत चढवायला मला आवडेल!
मी सन्घाच्या शाखेत नियमित जात होतो, तिथे फार पुर्वीपासून वन्देमातरम पुर्णपणेच म्हणले जाते, जायचे! आणि तरीही मला माझी पाठान्तर शक्ती कमकुवत असल्याने, स्मरण शक्ती तीव्र नसल्याने असन्ख्य वेळेस ऐकुनही पुर्ण वन्दे मातरम म्हणता येत नाही, आणि म्हणुन एसव्हीएस, तुम्ही माझ्याही कानफटीत चढविणार का? कारण मला कागदावरचे छापिल वन्देमातरम वाचुन म्हणल्याशिवाय नुस्ते तोन्डी आठवुन म्हणता येत नाही आणि तरीही मी वन्देमातरमच्या सक्तीचे समर्थन करतो तर तुमच्या या न्यायाने मी आत्तापर्यन्त सतराशे साठ कानफटीत खाल्या असायला पाहीजेत, नाही का?
मात्र या प्रकरणातून मला एक मान्य करावेच लागेल, की बीजेपी वाले बनचूके प्रोफेशनल राजकारणी नाहीत! पण तो वेगळा विषय हे!
