Namaskar Maaybolikarrno....
I was surprised to see that there is no subject/conversation regarding the great mountain range, Sahyadri. Pls. correct me if there is a discussion already present on Sahyadri.
Before comming to US, I was really freeking out in Sahyadri (for more than 12 years)....
I did mountaineering, trekking, rock-climbing. Our group also used to do community services like tree plantation on various forts, cleaning the ponds and lakes on the forts, cleaning the temples, caves etc. on the forts.
My favorite region is Igatpuri and especially I love Alang, Kulang and Madan forts..

I know some sites on Sahyadri.. on the net, but I wanted to talk/discuss/meet with people about Sahyadri on Maayboli. Anyway, thanks for the suggestion. Did you go for any trek in Sahyadri?

Hi Sameer,
thanks for giving the exact locations where I will find something about Sahyadri.
But..... honestly, I did not feel that there was ANY discussion worth reading in TREKKING in SAHYADRI folder (from Pune: West Maharashtra).
Well, there was something in the other folder, but not my choice. Also, I am not yet used to read marathi in english so it becomes very difficult for me. Sometimes, I just ignore it.
