Okay. Tar ata thodi suruvat karu yat. tar ancient egypt madhe atta paryant ekun 31 dynastis discover zalya ahe. arthat tyatlya saglya kahi famous ani well-known nahit... kahi dynasties madhe egypt madhlya pratyek gharatun sonyacha dhoor nighat hota ani kahi dynasties madhe egypt was in total turmoil... usually pratyekala sadharan pane kahi dynasties mahiti ahet... fakt tyanche numbers ithe detoy for your reference...

Scorpion King - A king from early pre-dynastic period... tentatively around 4200-4500 BC...

King Narmer - 1st official pharoh of egypt who unified upper and lower egypt (northern and southern)

Djoser - 3rd dynasty... pyramid building started around this time... Djoser was the 1st pharoh to build a pyramid.... a Step Pyramid of Saqqara.... his architect who made it possible to achieve this greatest achitechtural wonder of all times, his name was ImHotep

Sneferu and Khufu - 4th dynasty... this time egypt was able to accomplish incredible feat of the Giza pyramids, The Great Pyramid, the one they showed live on that Fox TV show

and then come THE DYNASTY 18...
the most famous of all... egypt was at the peak during this time in all aspects... wealth, treasure, arts and what not... it's also called as Dynasty of Warriors.... Dynasty of great Politicians....

fisrt Woman Pharoh came in power during this dynasty..... QUEEN HATSHEPSUT....
TutanKhamen is from the same dynasty... AYE is the next pharoh after TutenKhamen... you will what this Pharoh did to TutenKhamen in the TV show on Discovery on 6th Oct... "The Assasination of King Tut"... this is the dynasty of beautiful women... God's wife Nefertiti, Hatshepsut.... Ankhensenamen....
Egypt became a SUPERPOWER during this time... magnificent Amenhotep III (later known as AKhenaten - Tutankhamen's father) began an artistic revolution in ancient city of Amarna... (they have a beautiful collection of Amarna artifacts at Met museum of arts in NY)...

then came dynasty 19.. with the Pharoh of Genesis... the 10 commandments madhe dakhavlay to... atyant chikichya padhhtine tyala potray kelay tyachyat.. aso.... he was Ramses II, well known as RAMSES THE GREAT... he wasl like Alexander the great... of his time...

and then we know about the last dynasty... 30th... the dynasty of Cleopatra... egypt was conquered by Alexander the great.... a part of THEe GREEK empire around 300 BC... Macedonian kings started ruling egypt as its pharohs... Cleopatra was not at all egyptian in any way... she was macedonian.... from the same region of Alexander the Great... he was macedonian too... tyachyach general chi hi mulgee... those were the last days of golden egypt...

then came the Romans around 100 BC.... everyone knows about the romantic relationship between Augustus Caesar and Cleopatra.... and then Mark Anthony (Marcus Antonius) and Cleopatra.... then egypt was ruled by romans...

then came Muslims around 600-100 AD.... and everyone knows after that...

hi zali thodi mahiti... famous ani well known manse ani tyanche kal-khand yabaddal...
baki nantar

hello Sasuli,
I just looked at this BB now, and could not resist dropping in a line. I was in Egypt during the week of Christmas 2003. Went for vacation. I must say that the experience in seeing the mummies, Pyramids, sphinx is out of this world. And its worth experiencing it once in your life time. If any body needs more information about reasonable deals in Egypt or for experience as a tourist, please do not hesitate to ask me.

Hi Sarang,
It was a 7 day trip to Egypt from Germany. I am currently in Germany, will be relocating back to US next month. From Germany we get very good offers, where the flight tickets, hotels and meals are inclusive. It was 600Euros per head inclusive of everything. But Ofcourse we had to pay for the tours in Egypt.
We went to a beach resort called Hurgharda on the Red Sea coast. From there we took trips to Cairo and Luxor. We could not cover Alexandria and Abu Simbal. But I think what we saw was good enough. And besides we wanted to relax and laze besides just touring.
We also got very good treatment, because the Egyptians like Indians very much and are big fans of Amitabh Bachchan. And thanks to Bollywood, we were given special treatment in very place we went.
Send me an email if you want more info.
