Abhishruti Monday, December 29, 2003 - 6:20 am:      About moving back to India, I can share a positive experience. I moved back here with my 2 kids 3 yrs ago, had no problems getting a job. Yes, initial 6 months were little hard(typical telephone exchange, ration-card, MSEB etc govt problems) but I had prepared my mind but then everything is running pretty smoothly. Kids got adjusted within no time and are scoring 90% + in schools, enjoying outdoor games, participating in all possible cultural/co-curricular activities on their own. Healthwise also everything is OK. About appliances, I bought everything in India, about furniture, some items like leather sofa(with recliner),bunkbed,baby-furniture I brought from USA but everything else is made over here(custom-made) which is cheaper and u can have ur own designs/sizes according to the space available. Everything is available here in India(including servants which is not the case in USA)SO my conclusion is :Anyone, who is not very fussy/cribbing can leave happily overhere.

Mukman2004 Monday, December 29, 2003 - 11:12 am:      one more experience: my brother was in US with his wife and kid for 4 yrs. then they decided to come back. He got a nice job in india (b'lore) and now they are very happy.... they don't even compare the life styles.... and b'lore is nice city for NRIs, he got his own big flat, car etc...
