Samir,

Rules can differ for different insurance companies. Your best bet is to call up your insurance agent , he will tell you exactly whether he can drive or not.

Samir: As of my knowledge, if he has valid drivers license either from US or anywhere else and he is driving your car with your consent then its under your insurance unless in an accident he claim to put charges on his insurance. But since he do not have any insurance, your insurance company has to cover it by law. Unfortunately, once such a thing happens you will be 'marked' as a careless driver on your insurance policy and your insurance might go up ot the insurance company might reject your future policy :-( Please check with your agent.

I believe that enterprise does allow you to take insurance on international drivers license....

get the regular licence first. then fill a form for international licence. u need to submit passport copy with it. u need to be present personally to meet main officer at RTO. then he will OK it and u will get it next day or so.

नमस्कार,
नुकतेच वाचनात आले की आता
Michigan राज्यामध्ये Temporary Residents ना Driving License मिळणार नाही.
याबद्दल कोणाला अधिक माहिती असल्यास कळवा.

you need a valid American driver's license and have car insurance to drive here .
you may drive on your foreign license for a maximum of six months... but i am not sure abt Texas law. U need to follow the state laws.
check this link
http://www.dmv.org/tx-texas/drivers-license.php
driving practice करायला इथे खास जागा असते. तिथे सगळेजण प्रक्टिस करतात. you can rent a car and can practice their.
or u can join Driving Schools.

Thanks Prr
I will visit the website mentioned by you.
I am going to take Rental Car as I will be in Texas for 16 to 18 months only.
I hope I will get insured car only and i personaly don't need to apply for Car Insurance etc.
Joining driving school is good suggestion but Time & Cost point of view it may turn expensive for me... Lets see
Thanks again
