There are few restrictions on work, if you are dependent on student visa holder.

Hi Sampada, I am sure you will get job here. Actualy if your visa category allows you to work, then nobody bothers what type of visa you having.
Just do few things as soon as you arrive, they are as follows...
Open your bank accont within 6 weeks of arrival, if you try after 6 weeks, you have to provide few documents which takes long.
Also applay for TFN (Tax file number). If you apply at Taxation office personaly,mostly you get it on same day.
The reson I am suggesting you to do these things ASAP is, without this basic info, your job application can not proceed.

khup bara watla yenya adhich madat miltey. kharach abhari ahe mi. mala barech prashna ahet. ektar SIR visa miltoy mala. so mag Adelaide la rahanyacha vichar ahe instead of Student visa. Tar tula kahi mahiti ahe ka tikadchi? mhnaje tithe amhala 3 varsha rahava lagel mag PR milel. Tar tula kay watta?

ओह soory ग तेजु, !
खरे तर मला SIR visa या प्रकाराबद्दल माहिति नाही आहे. आता दुसर्या देशात येत आहेस तर Adelaid, perth, sydney सर्व सारखेच आहेत. तुम्हा दोघान्ना मिळणार्या job वर सगळे अवल.म्बुन आहे.
मला असे वाटते कि student visa घेउन यायचे अणि मग PR ला apply केले तर कदचित ३+ वर्षे लगतिल, जास्त पण कमी नाही. student visa जर तुज़्या नवर्यानी नाही घेतला, तर work restrictions टाळता येतात.
Adelaid ला जाणे सोयीस्कर असेल तर १ +ve गोष्ट ही कि cost of living तिथे बरीच कमी आहे,
मी परवा भारतत परत जात आहे, तुला All the best कळव कुठे आस्शिल ते. मी Jan मद्धे परत यॅईन. मग भेटु.

Well Chetan, Australia madhe sarvach area madhe job senario changala nahi.. Some fields like IT, Construction, Accounting, Some trade jobs, Nursing, Supply chain wagere la changla scope aahe.. look on www.seek.com.au or www.mycareer.com.au to get a feel. But I should also warn you that getting job here is a long process. Can take upto 3-4months in some cases. Intitally you may face problem for not having any Australian experience. ani you may have to start partime or call centre type of jobs to earn ur daily expenses. Immigration sathi check www.immi.gov.au. sagali mahiti aahe tithe. consult few migration agents in India but don't belive on every single word they tell you about job sernario. they mainly worried about their commision nothing else. so testify what they say with other resources. Ekde yetana think about some main issues like: your age, area in which ur looking job & can you see any jobs for that area, what sort of family commimtments you have & last but most important how long can you support yourself in australia without job initially. Don't excpet any support from Australian Government in that case, you are on ur own once u come here. Overall situation is not very flowery but yes you can get through if you are ready to struggle for couple of years.
