Ase kahi nsate! If & only if all the 3 lines (life, heart and brain) are terminating half-way thru then it shows one of the following in my limited knowledhe of palmistry
(1) As you mentioned Alpayu yog OR
(2) Permanent Immigration to foriegn land (say USA/UK etc)-- or jail or complete Sanyas...
I know SEVERAL people with VERY short lines (all the 3) and still going 65+ !!
Basically short lines show a VERY MATERIALISTIC approach towards life most of the times and it changes after that age where the liines end and they choose completely different path in life. (All the 3 major lines have to end)

(4) So I think, I can't advise u for or against the further educaiton. Only thing is that Sept 2009 to March 2012 would be especially troublesome or rather there would be some issues happening around you that you may need to solve or be part of. You need to consider that.
(5) Basically middle and more so last 2.5 years of sadesati would be more troublesome. (Specially Spet 2009 to 20012 as told above) & you need to plan accordingly.

If you are getting into Harvard, Stamford or say Cambridge or say IIMs, I would say GO FOR IT regardless of horoscope!

(1) Lagnesh Guru is wakri in 8th house but is un Uchcha raashi. It is in yuti with Ketu and opposite to Shani (& of course Ketu).
(2) **Currently** Shani is going over her Guru and causing health issues. This will continue until July 21, 2007 I think. After that there will be some (quitea bit) relief.
(3) I think she would be helped a lot by a Pushkaraaj as it is lagnesh and also onwer of her Sun sign. Pushkaraaj or 2 caret in gold iin index finger in right hand, wear it on Thursday 6 to 7 (1 hrs fatre suryoday)
(4) She MUST do daily 1 hr of yoga...(Baba Ramdeo VCD). Specially something that is related to Lungs.

In 2008 she would have 5th Guru which would be helpful for success and also Guru would be aspecting Mars in Gemini (good for education but waad-wiwaad ghalatat!) Mars is onwer of 5th house So again it would be REALLY HELPFUL
So in all she would get GREAT success in 12th Exam..No Probs at all. (But until July 2007, tabyetichya bartik takarai kade durlaksha karu naka bilkul.)
