Lemon flavored white cooking wine वापरुन काही पदार्थ माहित असतील तर लिहा. ही सीफूड साठी जास्त वापरली जाते म्हणून मी shrimp चे वगैरे प्रकार केले. अजून काही आयडिया असतील तर द्या.

वाईनची ची चव, आवडनिवड पिणार्‍यावर अवलम्बून असते. जेवणातले पदार्थ, वाईनचं vintage , वाइन साठवून ठेवण्याची पद्ध्त, सर्व्ह करण्याची पद्धत यावर पण बरंच काही अवलम्बून असतं.
तरिही, नव्याने वाइन चाखून पाहणार्‍यांसाठी, भारतीय पदार्थांबरोबर ( मसालेदार चवीच्या) चालतील अशा वाईन ह्या Merlot, Cabernet, Beuojails, shiraaz or shiraah).
Try Australian, South African , Chilean and Argentinian wines if you can. Experiment,and keep notes of what you like and what you dont like. Talk to the folks at wine shops. Several wine shops have tastings. You can try before you buy.Talk to the sommeliers in restaurants. There are several magazines, and web sites devoted to this. Take tours of local wineries.
And write here about what you tried, what you like and dont like :-)

Shonoo ..... मान्य आहे की ....वाईनची ची चव,आवडनिवड पिणार्‍यावर अवलम्बून असते. पण सुरवातीला काहीच माहिती नसताना नक्की कुठली घ्यावी काही समजत नाही. बरेचदा Red Wine and health वर वाचल्याने Red Wine test करावीशी वाटली. मागे टेस्ट केलेली French red Wineची चव(थोडी कडवट असतानाही)आवडली त्यामुळे आता खरेदी करताना जाणकारांचा सल्ला विचारावासा वाटला. :-)

If you bought a few bottles from BJs or some scuh place, dont stress about the best way to store wine. Find a cool, dark place and keep the bottles there. Kitchens are typically not ideal. Basements or cooler rooms in your house/apartments are ideal. Make sure the temperature does not drop to below freezing.
If you start collecting wine with the intent of aging them several years, then you need to worry about proper storage.

i have kept bottle in a storage room(kitchen). as u say that kitchen is not ideal....now i wil keep it outside kitchen.
but can u tell me ...why kitchen is not ideal?
In India, is it fine to keep Wine bottle in fridge ........as the temperature is hot.
in India i had kept a Wine bottle in fridge horizontally....but after 5-6 months its taste n colour both changed. :-(
If u have good websites about wine inforamtion do tell me.

Generally, the kitchen temperature tends to fluctuate- hotter when you cook and cooler when there is no cooking going on.It is important to keep wine at a constant temperature- usually.

Off course, most $10-$20 wines are meant to be enjoyed relatively quickly and you do not need to worry about storing them.

I have never had to worry about wine storage in India, so I can comment on that.

मागच्या आठवड्यात चिकमगलुर ला गेलो होतो. बायको च्या नात्यत ल्यान्ची तिथे coffee estate आहे. Coffee चे फ़ळ एकदम गोड असते. Pulping करुन coffee चे बी बाहेर काढ्तात. ह्या प्रक्रियेत, फ़ळाचा गर अणि साल हे waste म्हणुन जाते.

प्रश्न असा आहे, कि ह्या गरा पासुन wine/alcohol तयार करता येईल का? कुठे माहिती मिळेल का? कोणी मदत करेल का?

coffee process करताना खूप पाणी वापरुन धुतली जाते. ते पाणी, गर अणि साल एका pit मध्ये टाकुन सध्या तरी ख़त म्हणुन वापरतात. पण त्या pit मध्ये ते ferment होऊन छान दारु चा वास येत होता :-) म्हणुन हि idea सुचली
